G-Force Aviation teaches to proficiency standards which far exceed that of the FAA minimums. We start with an individualized assessment and design a custom "Initial" and a "Recurrent" syllabus specific to you/your mission that will not only get you current but keep you proficient.
You will work directly with me. An experienced pilot, instructor, and evaluator with thousands of hours of instruction given in various aircraft including Cirrus Aircraft, Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA), Pressurized Jets, turbo-prop single and Multi-engine aircraft.

The AATD is a valuable tool to teach the Garmin Prospective and Prospective + Systems in a controlled environment. This includes building flight plans (Vector Airways, SIDs and STARs), utilization of electronic checklists, autopilot usage & best practices, descent planning with vertical navigation (VNAV), loading and flying ILS, LOC, VOR & GPS approaches to minimums. Missed approach procedures & holds.
The AATD is used to improve Aeronautical Decision Making & Single-pilot Resource Management regardless of the type of GA plane you fly. Creating scenarios that are hard to duplicate in real flying such as low IMC, icing, and ATC delays. Training includes planned and unplanned diversion, in flight fuel planning caused by alternate routing to avoid un-forecasted weather hazards such as convective activity, icing or turbulence. Decisions you make in the SIM will be discussed in a thorough debrief to allow you to incorporate the lessons learned in real life flying to help make better decisions and/or minimize decision errors.
To best preserve your plane's engine and avionics, mechanical failures are best duplicated in simulators. Failures can occur un-announced which introduces the element of startle and surprise. This is valuable as it will give insight on how you will react in real life under the same circumstance, what procedures and checklist to use, how to manage the added workload while flying the aircraft, and if you are a Cirrus Aircraft Pilot how/when to utilize CAPs.
